Broadcasting
I was a radio broadcaster for over ten years – so I have significant live broadcasting experience in both speech and music radio. I’ve worked for a variety of organisations, including LBC and the BBC.
Much of my time was in commercial radio as a journalist and newsreader: interviewing people, writing stories and reading the news.
I’ve also presented music programmes on a wide variety of commercial stations, and was the breakfast presenter at one station for about a year, where I presented an entertainment-based show.
I worked for the BBC for about three years, as a journalist, newsreader, producer and programme presenter.
Corporate communications
I’ve been advising senior business leaders, at the executive level, for over 15 years.
I am an experienced external and internal communications professional, with a track record of successfully delivering a wide range of projects.
You name it, I’ve done it: everything from video production to brochures and features. And then there’ve been podcasts, case studies, websites and annual reports, to name but a few…
Plus, I’ve played a key production role in live-streamed events with broadcast-style production values including scriptwriting, presenter coaching and much more. I’ve also done public relations, both proactive and crisis management.
On top of all that I’ve also been the communications lead for a major internal change programme!
